Torture is not therapy

Shoutout to the activists and organizers of Canada that pushed for the ban of conversion therapy! The bill that passed both the house and senate unanimously was signed into law yesterday. It’s perhaps the most comprehensive ban on the practice:
- Bans not only the practice, but also advertising and benefitting from it even indirectly.
- Bans the practice for everyone (not just healthcare professionals)
- Bans the practice on everyone (not just minors)
- Bans bringing minors out of the country for the purpose of the making them undergo the practice.
